Your team

The work changes. Finance still owns the answer.

No, it doesn’t replace your team. It clears the repetitive, mechanical work — the matching, the chasing, the first drafts — so your people spend their hours on judgment, review, and the calls that carry real consequence. And it leaves them more able to answer for the result, not less: they approve the work, their name is on it, and now they can defend it.

The division of labour

The AI does the grunt work. Your people keep the judgment.

What the AI carries

  • Reading documents and pulling the numbers out
  • Matching, reconciling, and flagging what doesn’t tie
  • Preparing entries and drafts — with the reasoning attached
  • Watching for the exception a person would want to see

What your people keep

  • The decision, and the sign-off that stands behind it
  • Judgment on anything unusual, sensitive, or material
  • The relationships, the negotiations, the advice
  • Command of the system — setting what the AI may do

Plainly stated

What MAIA will not do.

Honesty about the limits is part of the design. If a vendor won’t tell you where their AI stops, that is the answer.

  • It will not post a material entry on its own authority — a person signs off.
  • It will not take an action it was not granted, however it is prompted.
  • It will not change a posted record to make the books look tidy.
  • It will not hide its reasoning — every action comes with the why.
  • It will not claim to be accountable for your numbers. A person always is.

The honest promise

Fewer late nights. Not fewer people who matter.

The work that burns out a finance team is rarely the work that needs their expertise. MAIA takes the former and hands back the latter — with a full trail of what it did, one question away. Your team stops being data-entry and starts being the judgment the business actually pays them for.
